  • Your first session is 60 minutes, as is every session after that. It is considered to be what is called a “clinical hour” - this means that the 55 minutes focus on you, the client, and the remaining 5 minutes give me time for documentation and any paperwork that needs to be submitted.

  • The intake fee is in place because the first session means a lot of extra paperwork, setting up your portal on the administrative end and it’s the beginning of starting services. Everyone, when establishing services at GPC, is charged the intake fee for the first session. A regular session entails less paperwork and therefore costs less.

  • Only select insurances that are listed above will be accepted, the rest are susceptible to superbill through reimbursement on your end through insurance.

    Fees & Superbills

We are more than happy to provide you with a superbill for any services rendered.

A superbill is a detailed invoice that includes all the necessary information for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. It typically contains the date of service, a description of the services provided, associated CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes, and our provider information.

Guardian Pack Counseling does not guarantee any sort of reimbursement from insurance companies and can not guarantee any certain amount to be reimbursed. Prices are as listed for sessions and will be charged accordingly.

  • Great question! LPCC means - Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. It means that I have graduated with my Master’s degree and am in the process of gaining licensure. I am also under a licensed supervisor, Jamie Miller, MA, LPC with Authentic Self Therapy Services. You can check out her website and more about her on her website linked with her name.

I have been through practicum (pre-internship), and an additional two internships as well as 4 more months of practice. In total this is about a year and a half of training prior to becoming an LPCC. This means I have close to 1,000 hours in practice already.

I have had many different trainings, courses, and also gone out of my way to do my own research to improve my counseling skills.

  • No. I am pre-licensed and this would need to be done by someone who is already licensed.

  • This includes a summary of sessions and other services that take place OUTSIDE of session time. The rate is $60 per 60 minutes and will be discussed at time of request if the request can be completed or not and what the charge will be.

  • Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate Explaining How Much Your Medical Care Will Cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745
