Hi, I’m CJ.

I’m the clinician with the ever changing colored hair, the judgement free space and the basket of fidget toys in my office. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate based out of Centennial, Colorado.

My Approach

My goal is to empower you, help you process trauma, and to be in your corner even when you’re feeling like no one else is. I’m direct without being harsh or critical. My goal is to provide a judgement-free zone, providing an inclusive and open environment, and help guide you through working with your inner child.

My Background

I’m a graduate of Adams State University within the Counselor Education Program, focusing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also have an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Prevention and Intervention Studies from Colorado State University (Go Rams!).

So why is your practice called Guardian Pack Counseling?

To make a long story short, my best friend who we unfortunately lost early and unexpectedly, has always been an inspiration to me in wanting to work with certain populations. It was our dream to go and visit the Yellowstone National Park and see the wolf packs there because of our mutual love of wolves.

With her unexpected departure, it became apparent this was not something that we would be able to experience. I dedicated my practice name to her not only in the aspect of our love for wolves, but that she always said that I helped to protect and provide for the populations she aligned with.

So, established as of 2024, my practice is named Guardian Pack Counseling.

Right now I’m a one person show, but eventually I will have others on board.

Welcome to the Pack.
